Maids of Athena
Add Third Chapter - Oakland University Clinton Township-
Dori Daskas, District Daughters of Penelope Maids of Athena Advisor, worked diligently with newly elected Anne Simopoulos to form the chapter. "It is with pleasure that I announce the reinstatement of the Maids of Athena Terpsichore Chapter #164. Congratulations to all new initiates! Ann Simopoulos,Mary Kaltsonis,Megan Hryckowian,Stephanie Burdalas,Amanda Papageorgiou,and Dimitra Stolakis. These beautiful young Greek ladies are an asset to the AHEPA Family and will keep Hellenic culture alive and offer their leadership qualities and loyalty to the Order. With this third MOA Chapter, the Maids have established full District Status and we look forward to their strong leadership and commitment....they are the future! A special thank you to Ann Simopoulos for her willingness and determination to get all of these girls involved. Ann will hold the office of President and Mary Kaltsonis, Vice President." District Governor Penny Khorraminia, joined in the initiation and was pleased to participate in the festivities. "This is a very special group of ladies and we are looking forward to working together to promote our common mission, philanthropy, education, woman's issues, and promoting our Hellenic culture." The Maids are planning
a Christmas progressive dinner and in February they will host their second
annual "Date Auction" at Exodus Club in Greektown. Those interested
